Australia's track-guided interior blind

Ziptrak interior blinds

Ziptrak Interior blinds create a sealed, architectural window finish for bedrooms, media rooms and large glazing where ordinary roller blinds leave too much light around the edges.

Why it feels different

A guided blind system, not a loose hanging roller blind.

Standard roller blinds can darken a room, but they usually leave a glow at the sides, top and bottom. Ziptrak Interior holds the fabric inside slim side tracks and finishes the opening with a neat pelmet and bottom bar.

The result is a cleaner, more controlled room: less glare, better privacy, improved insulation and a much darker finish when specified with blackout fabric.

  • Side tracks reduce light gaps
  • No hanging chains or cords
  • Stops at any height
  • Manual or motorised control

Laser clinic treatment room

Fully blackout blinds for treatment privacy and light control.

A laser clinic treatment room needed a clean interior blind system that could block outside light during procedures while still looking calm and professional when viewed from inside the room.

Ziptrak Interior was specified with blockout fabric, side tracks, a concealed top pelmet and a bottom channel to reduce the light gaps that ordinary roller blinds leave behind.

Where it works best

Built for rooms where light control really matters.

Ziptrak Interior is most useful when the window covering needs to do more than look nice: sleep, privacy, insulation, glare reduction or a clean finish over large glass.

Bedroom

Blockout privacy

Pair blockout fabric with tracks and a bottom channel for the darkest result.

Living room

Soft daylight

Translucent or screen fabrics reduce glare without making the room feel closed in.

Bathroom

Daytime privacy

Translucent fabrics soften light and obscure the view from outside during the day.

Media room

Controlled darkness

Blockout fabric and guided edges reduce screen glare and create a darker cinema feel.

Fabric and control

Choose blackout, soft privacy or a view-through screen.

Fabric type determines privacy, view, glare reduction, heat performance and how dark the room becomes. For a fully blackout result, choose blockout fabric with side tracks, pelmet and bottom channel.

Full blackout

Blockout

Designed for bedrooms, nurseries, home cinemas and presentation spaces. Pair blockout fabric with tracks and bottom channel when the brief is true darkness.

Soft natural light

Translucent

Diffuses harsh daylight and provides daytime privacy without making the room feel closed in. Well suited to bathrooms, living spaces and street-facing windows.

Keep the view

Screen

Reduces glare and UV exposure while maintaining outward visibility. Screen material does not provide privacy at night when interior lights are on.

Operation options

Choose simple cordless control or concealed motorisation.

Manual

Spring-balanced control

Lift or lower the blind by hand, then stop it at the height you want. The system is cord-free, neat and easy to use for everyday privacy and light control.

Motorised

Remote or automated control

A concealed motor is ideal for wide windows, grouped blinds or hard-to-reach openings. Control can be by remote, wall switch or compatible automation system.

Common questions

Planning your interior blinds.

How dark can Ziptrak Interior make a room?

Blockout fabric and side tracks greatly reduce light leakage. For the most complete result, an optional bottom channel closes the gap at the sill. Small amounts of light may still depend on the window, installation and surrounding room surfaces.

What fabric is best for a bedroom?

Blockout is generally best for sleep and privacy. Translucent fabric is a good choice when you want softer daylight and daytime privacy, while screen fabric retains the view but does not provide privacy at night.

Can the blinds be motorised?

Yes. Motorisation suits larger, grouped or difficult-to-reach windows. The motor is concealed inside the pelmet for a clean finish and can operate one blind or multiple blinds, depending on the selected control system.

What is the maximum blind size?

A single Ziptrak Interior blind can be made up to 3000mm wide with a maximum 2800mm drop. The minimum width is 450mm. Final sizing and pelmet selection depend on the chosen fabric.

Does the system help with insulation?

Yes. The side tracks, pelmet and lowered fabric create a more enclosed air pocket between the room and glass than an open-sided roller blind, helping reduce heat transfer through the window.

Need better privacy or glare control indoors?

We will measure the opening and help select the right fabric and control.
